Following our very popular Open Event today we would like to offer a reminder that there are still three opportunities to visit OPGS. Head to OPGS.org and click on the banner to be taken to the booking for the Open Mornings. Please share and repost to ensure as many people know about the last opportunities to see the school as it is on a normal school day before submitting secondary school choices to KCC at the end of October.

Every young person that visits our open morning tomorrow is entitled to a free book. At OPGS we value reading and believe it to be an important source of creativity and curiosity. We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Don’t leave before getting your free book.

Huge congratulations to Tristan and Flynn for their successes in the Kent Table Tennis trials. Tristan won the Cadet Under 15 trial and will now represent Kent this season. Flynn competed in the U19 event (despite being in Year 11) and placed a very impressive 12th overall. Well done!

Student Success Post! We want to celebrate Jacob (Year 8) and Ethan (Year 11) who have had brilliant successes this week. Jacob completed a 10k Walk for Parkinsons with his Dad in Battersea Park whilst Ethan finished 4th in the Red Bull Rookies Cup in Austria (ahead of two Championship contenders) this weekend.

Senior Rugby kicked off the season with a challenging visit to Bennett; a well established and skilful team. The result was not what we wanted but there are signs of growth, improvement but most importantly a team ethic amongst the boys. No shame in defeat. And the new kit looks awesome.
