Pancake Day went down a treat today! 🥞😋

The children loved their messy play activity discovering which ingredients we needed to make pancakes, chatting about their favourite toppings and whipping up some very creative (and slightly adventurous!) creations! 😳🤣

At tea time, it was time for our very own pancakes. Each of the Acorns chose the fruit toppings they wanted – we had some wonderful combinations and proud little faces. 🫐🍌

Today we’re celebrating 3 years of Acorns Childcare! 🥳🎊
Three wonderful years filled with laughter, curiosity and many special memories. Watching the Acorns grow, explore and build a deep connection with nature continues to be at the heart of everything we do. 🌿💛

To mark this amazing milestone, I’m beyond excited to share our brand new additional room! A fresh, inspiring space where creativity can flourish, imaginations can blossom and many more happy moments will be made. 🥰

📣 A huge shout-out to my talented Dad — and an even bigger thank you for his incredible determination, dedication and hard work in bringing this dream to life! ❤️

I can’t wait for all the future memories to be made here and for my Acorns to enjoy a beautiful extension full of creative play, laughter and endless possibilities.🧸📚

🎆The Acorns have had a wonderful time on our recent adventures, enjoying a cosy café trip, a play date with friends, and finishing the year off with a pyjama party full of dancing, games and laughter! 🍪🥳🎊🎲

❄️✨️ Life at Acorns is always full of curiosity, creativity and little moments of joy. Each day brings a new mix of play, learning and adventure as the children explore, build, imagine and grow together. 🎨🏅🥰

We created our very own pumpkin patch at Acorns! 🧡 The children loved exploring the different shapes, sizes, textures and colours of the pumpkins — a wonderful sensory experience that encouraged curiosity and language through hands-on learning. 🍂 - We finished the morning with some comforting vegetable soup for lunch 🍲🫛

🍂🦔💛 Autumn has arrived at Acorns, bringing colourful leaves, cosy crafts, and plenty of outdoor adventures for curious little hands and minds. 🍂🦔💛
