☀️🌴 Summer Holiday Fun at Nursery! 🌴☀️
This week, our nursery is celebrating all things Summer Holidays!
🌊🏖️ From building sandcastles and exploring seaside-themed activities to creating colourful summer crafts, the children are enjoying lots of fun while developing their creativity, communication, and imagination.

🚀 Amazing Planets! 🌍✨
What an exciting week we having exploring the wonders of space! 🌙⭐ We travelled from Planet Earth to the Moon, discovered the eight amazing planets, learned about rockets, and finished with a fun Space Adventure.

This weekly nursery plan is called "Amazing Planets!" and focuses on space, planets, the Moon, rockets, and stars.
Children develop their communication, physical, social, mathematical, literacy, and creative skills through stories, games, crafts, counting activities, and sensory play. They also learn new vocabulary related to space, such as Earth, Moon, Sun, stars, planets, rockets, astronauts, galaxy, and universe.

This week, our children enjoyed learning about healthy habits, including how to take care of their teeth, make healthy food choices, and look after their wellbeing. 🦷🍎
With the lovely warm weather, we also had lots of fun cooling off outdoors with water play activities, creating plenty of smiles, laughter, and happy memories! 💦☀️ 💙

✨ Throughout the week, we will: 🪥 Learn the correct way to brush our teeth
🍎 Explore healthy foods that help keep teeth strong
🍬 Understand why too much sugar can harm our teeth
👩‍⚕️ Learn about the important role of dentists
😊 Build confidence, communication skills, and healthy habits
From giant tooth-brushing activities to creative crafts and engaging stories, every experience is designed to make learning meaningful and fun!
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home by practicing good brushing routines and talking about healthy food choices together.

This week, the children enjoyed making special Father’s Day cards and glittery handprint keepsakes for their loved ones. 💙 They also worked together to decorate colourful ties, showing great creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
We are so proud of all their hard work and the beautiful creations they made!
