🍺🔥 THE 1908 CLUB BEER & BBQ IS BACK!

Friday 10th July | 5.30–9pm
The Windsor Boys’ School | Vansittart Road entrance

This year we’re thrilled to welcome back some legendary faces . To name just a few, Mr Rooke, Mr Paul, Mr Dawkins, and Mr Rawling (who, we can confirm, hasn’t changed a single bit since this portrait was penned 👀).

Whether you want to thank them for inspiring you, prove you turned out okay anyway, or simply enjoy a brilliant evening of cold drinks, great food, and proper trips down memory lane — this one’s for you.

Come and join your fellow Old Windsorians for what promises to be another fabulous night. 🎉

⛳ The weather tried its best to stop us. It failed. ☀️

A fantastic day out with our wonderful Old Boys at the 1908 Club Lambourne Golf Day — great golf, great company, and some genuinely heartwarming offers of support for our current students. Thank you Lads!

The older generation giving back to the next — it’s my biggest motivation!

Thank you to everyone who came along. 🙌

⛳ URGENT: Golf Day Cancellation Warning

We need your help to save the 1908 Club Golf Day at Lambourne Golf Club on 4th June.

We’re still 12 places short of the minimum numbers needed to go ahead — and if we don’t fill them by 27th May, we will have no choice but to cancel.

That would mean no bacon baps, no competitive 4-ball, no chips and sandwiches in the evening sun — and no continuing the 1908 spirit into Windsor afterwards. Don’t let that happen.

📅 Thursday 4th June 2026
📍 Lambourne Golf Club, SL1 8NF
💷 £100 per person (includes a £20 donation to the 1908 Club)
🕛 Registration from 12pm | Tee off 1pm
Enter as a team of four, or come solo — we’ll pair you up on the day.

👉 Book now: https://twbs.charityhive.co.uk/tickets/8/1908-club-exclusive-golf-day-lambourne-golf-club

If you’ve been meaning to sign up — now is the time. And if golf isn’t your thing, please share this with a fellow Old Boy who’d jump at the chance.
Let’s not lose this one. 🏌️‍♂️

👀 Spot a familiar name?

Even if you don’t, this one’s for you.

We need YOU back at Windsor Boys’ on Thursday 9th July.

Our Careers Speed Networking Day connects real working people who sat in the same classrooms, walked the same corridors, with today’s Year 10s, who are trying to figure out what the world has in store for them. Sound familiar?

You don’t need a polished speech or a corner office. You just need to show up and share your story in a really comfortable, informal sat down setting. That’s it. That’s the whole job.

🍺 AND THEN — stick around for the weekend, because the 1908 Alumni Club Beer & Burger night is on Friday 10th July. Back in the school, with the people you haven’t seen in far too long!

Thursday: inspire the next generation.

Friday: enjoy a few well-earned pints with your own.

Book your travel to Windsor and make it a proper reunion. 🙌
📩 Get in touch: DM me or email [email protected] to sign up.

📸 Throwback to 1995 – South Africa Tour 🇿🇦

Here are some fantastic photos from what looks like an unforgettable tour to South Africa back in 1995…

This wasn’t just any school trip.

The mid-90s marked a huge moment in history — South Africa had only just reopened to the world after the end of apartheid in 1994.

Not long after, the country hosted the 1995 Rugby World Cup, sparking a wave of international school tours and sporting exchanges.

For the Windsor boys who went, this would have been a once-in-a-lifetime experience — travelling to a country going through such a powerful moment of change, playing sport, making friendships, and seeing a completely different part of the world.

We’d love to hear from you 👇
👉 Were you on this tour?
👉 Can you tag your teammates and friends?
👉 What are your standout memories?
👉 And does anyone remember how the trip came together?

Looking back now, it’s clear just how special — and how lucky — that group of boys were to be part of something like this.

Let’s see how many of you we can find… 🕵️‍♂️

🚀 Help Us Launch the 1908 Club Dragons’ Den
Students will pitch real ideas to Alumni and school leaders — just like in the world of work — building confidence, communication, teamwork and financial skills employers value.
To make it happen, we need to raise £3,000 by April.
Every donation helps bridge the gap between education and industry and gives students real-world experience that lasts a lifetime.
👉 Support future-ready students today and be part of their journey.
