On Friday 12th June, Year 1 Level 2/3 Protective Services students took part in an exciting Drill Competition as part of their Inter-Section Protective Services Competition. The students were split into sections and pushed themselves through a series of challenges, including a Log Race, Assault Course, Navigation tasks, and finally the Drill Competition, which ultimately decided the winning section!
We were honoured to welcome WO1 (RSM) Rae Metters, Regimental Sergeant Major at ATR Pirbright, who inspected the students and presented the Drill Trophy to the victorious section.
After a strong all-round performance across every event, Vulcan Section were crowned both Drill Competition and overall Inter-Section Competition winners.
A huge well done to all students who took part for showing exceptional teamwork, discipline, uniformity, fitness, and resilience throughout the competition๐
