This week we hosted our annual Digital Showcase 💻
We were delighted to welcome 13 schools and 3 Governors, who enjoyed a day exploring digital learning through stop-motion animation, drones, VR headsets and more.
It was wonderful to hear that so many attendees were impressed by the teaching, presentations and innovative ways technology is being used across our school, and left feeling inspired and full of ideas to take back to their own schools.
A huge thank you to all of our staff who spoke so passionately about digital innovation, and to our incredible pupil Digital Leaders, whose knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm helped make the day such a success 🩵

Today we celebrate World Environment Day 🌍🌿
At St Piran’s, our Harmony curriculum teaches children through nature, not just about nature. Whether that's planting, observing wildlife or spending time outdoors, we encourage our pupils to build a meaningful connection with the environment.
Today is a day to enjoy the natural world and appreciate the beauty of nature all around us ☀️

to last week, when our Year 3 pupils took part in a fantastic Roman Day with History Off The Page🏺✨
The children fully immersed themselves in the experience, taking part in a range of activities that gave them a glimpse into life in Roman times. A memorable and engaging day for all involved!

Our pupils never fail to impress! 🤸
Yesterday evening, our Upper School gymnasts took part in an in-house gymnastics competition and performed brilliantly throughout.
Their confidence, determination and resilience shone through in every routine, and each competitor should be incredibly proud of themselves 🩵

This week our Year 1 pupils enjoyed a wonderful trip to Waltham Place Farm and Educational Centre 🌿🐑
The day was packed with outdoor learning, as the children explored animal and plant life cycles, discovered how pollination works and spotted different pollinators around the gardens. Time in the woodland brought plenty of excitement too, with nature games and creative activities using objects found on the forest floor.
The sunshine made it even more special, and even the journey on the school minibuses was part of the adventure ☀️
