Our little friends, how time has flown,
You've laughed and learned, and gosh, you've grown!
Our days were spent having fun and exploring,
Every day was an adventure and never boring.
We've sung our songs, danced and played games
We'll forever cherish these special days.
Keep asking questions and trying new things
Keep being kind and embrace what life brings.
We'll miss you all, but don't feel blue,
Our hearts hold the happiest memories of you.
Keep laughing, playing, and enjoying each day,
We'll be cheering you on every step of the way β€οΈ
Good Luck, Class of 2026! π

Another Week of Beach and Holiday-Themed Activities! βοΈποΈ
In Maths, the children created colourful ice cream collages using a variety of shapes for the cone, scoops, and flake. They also practised their number formation by writing numbers in flour with paintbrushes, helping to develop both their early maths skills and fine motor control.
At the art table, the children designed their own beach balls by drawing sections onto paper plates and carefully painting each one in different colours.
The children had lots of fun building sandcastles using moon sand. They used the tools provided to scoop the sand into buckets before carefully turning them over to reveal their finished sandcastles, developing their hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills.

Our children had a fantastic time exploring our beach-themed sensory tray, using their imaginations to role play βbeing at the beachβ and talk about their own holiday experiences βοΈ
We also got creative by making delicious-looking ice creams using puffy paint and practised our maths skills by ordering beach-themed objects by size π¨
Our home corner was especially popular this week after being transformed into a busy ice cream shop! The children loved serving customers, taking orders, and using their imaginations through role play while developing their communication and social skills π¨

The children created beautiful sun-shaped suncatchers and decorated colourful umbrellas using paint and a variety of creative materials. βοΈ
The children also enjoyed exploring a snowy sensory tray filled with white playdough and animals that live in snowy places. They had fun using their imaginations, talking about snowy weather and learning about the animals that live in cold climates.
In maths, the children developed their counting skills by matching the correct number of cotton wool balls to numbered clouds. They also identified and completed repeating patterns on umbrellas. βοΈ

ππ On the Farm ππΎ
The children have been busy creating tractors and farm animals using Numicon, as well as making cow and pig faces using a variety of art materials. The children also loved exploring sensory play by making animal footprints in playdough using different farm animals.
As the week went on and temperatures soared, we adapted our provision to help keep everyone comfortable. The children enjoyed plenty of water and ice play, giving them lots of opportunities to stay cool while continuing to learn through play π¦
We are very proud of how well all of the children coped during this week's intense heatwave. They showed fantastic resilience, enthusiasm and continued to have lots of fun despite the hot weather. Well done, everyone! π
