Geography Field Trip: Exploring Quality of Life in Stratford and the Olympic Park
This week, our Year 11 GCSE Geography students have been out on field trips to Stratford and the Olympic Park in London as part of their studies on urban environments. They have been collecting primary data to investigate how and why quality of life varies across different parts of the area.
By conducting surveys, environmental assessments and land-use mapping, our boys have been gaining valuable insights into the impact of regeneration and urban development. Deepening their understanding of real world geographical issues.
We look forward to hearing their findings in the coming lessons!

Over the October half-term holiday some of our year 13 students embarked on an incredible trip to New York. Several of the A-level curriculums have a strong focus on the US, so students were able to enhance their learning in many areas. In particular: Business, Economics, Geography, History and Politics
Here are some pics of the sights and experiences: Times Square,UN headquarters, 9/11 museum, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, top of the Rockefeller centre, two guided walking tours of Harlem and the Financial district/Brooklyn, Central Park, and the High Line.
