🌿 Help Us Refresh Our Sensory Garden & Sensory Rooms 🌿

We are reaching out to our school community and beyond to help us raise funds to refurbish our much-loved sensory garden and sensory rooms.

These spaces are not just areas within our school — they are safe havens. They provide calm, comfort, stimulation, and support for students who need sensory regulation to learn, grow, and thrive.

For many of our students, these environments are essential. They:

Support emotional regulation

Reduce anxiety and sensory overload

Encourage communication and interaction

Promote independence and wellbeing

Create opportunities for therapeutic and sensory learning

Over time, our equipment and outdoor features have become worn and outdated. With your support, we hope to:

Update sensory equipment and interactive resources

Improve accessibility and safety

Introduce new calming and stimulating features

Create an inclusive, nurturing environment for every child

Every contribution — big or small — will make a meaningful difference to our students’ daily experiences at school.

If you would like to donate or support our fundraising efforts, please get in touch or visit [insert donation details/link].

Together, we can create spaces where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity. 💚

SEND Sensory Garden- Manor Green School I am writing to ask for your support in creating a SEND Sensory Garden and Sensory Light Room at Manor Green School— space.

Dear Parents/Carers

Manor Green School have supported Alexander Divine the last 2 years with the ‘Big Chick Knit’. It has been such a huge success and everyone was so generous that we would like to do the same again.

We will hold our egg collection day on Friday 6th March (next Friday) as part of our fundraising day. We will be asking staff and students to bring in the following size eggs for donation below:

Eggs should be handed to students class teacher and there will be egg chick knits to purchase for £3 from Reception over the course of the week. We will also be asking students to wear something GREEN on the Friday too.

I hope that you are able to take part in this wonderful cause by helping us to collect as many eggs as possible.
