Our Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students have been putting their culinary skills to the test in the School Heat of the Springboard FutureChef Competition.
Across four sessions, pupils were challenged to design, prepare and cook a main course for two, demonstrating their creativity, organisation and culinary skills along the way.
Congratulations to Rahul M, Zaid S, Emilia D and Holly S, who took first place and will now represent Claires Court at the Local Finals in November. Well done also to our runners-up, Ethan A, Ruben R-T, Emilia B and Isadora VH, who achieved second place.
The judges praised the high standard of dishes produced, as well as how well planned and organised our pupils were throughout the competition.
A huge thank you to our judges Neil Spencer, Richard Meakin and Lewis Oram from Thomas Franks, Dominic Chapman from The Jack O’Newbury and Harry Reader from Heckfield Place.
