When the weather delivers a heatwave, where better to be than in an airconditioned ColourWheel art class! Our students took on the challenge of creating a delicious ice cream study in a hyper-realistic style using their acrylic paints.

The results were outstanding - so realistic they look good enough to eat! Well done everyone 🍦👏

Continuing with our beach theme this week, our students used their watercolour paints to create these beautifully blended and vibrant crabs. Exploring techniques in colour mixing, wet into wet, wet into dry and dry brushing to bring their artwork to life! Fantastic results everyone, well done 🦀🤩

What a fun and creative week we’ve had, exploring mixed-media collage techniques to create these wonderful seaside collages. Students immersed themselves in the process; planning, cutting, layering, drawing and painting details to bring their birds to life. Each piece developed it’s own unique personality, capturing the mischievous spirit that the seagull is so well known for. Full of energy and charm – lovely work everyone, well done 🤩
