This week our students took inspiration from the famous natural limestone arch on the Jurassic coast – Durdle Door. Using soft pastels, they learnt techniques in layering, blending and colour transitions as well as atmospheric perspective. A lovely week, well done everyone 👏

What a bright and joyous week we had this week, using our vibrant inks, our students took inspiration from the talented artist Damien Hirst to create these wonderful artworks. Learning techniques in building up vivid washes, colour mixing, creating saturated marks as well as soft diffused textures, and creating depth and perspective. Lovely work everyone, well done 👏
