ColourWheel Maidenhead/ Windsor/ Ascot ColourWheel art classes are run over a 12 week term and allow individuals to learn real skills and techniques in a varity of mediums.

A fun and welcoming environment where students can get creative, unleash their inner artist and make new friends.🎨🖌️ ColourWheel art classes for adults are part-time and have been designed for beginners and improvers. Drawing inspiration from nature and the rich colour wheel of life we will teach you the techniques you need to produce beautiful works of art. If you think you can’t draw you‘re wrong, you just need to be shown how. Giving you the right tools and skills you will be on your way to producing work you never thought you could. The ColourWheel Art courses are a fun and friendly place to learn and make new friends. Held in lovely venues that will inspire you, we will help you to see the world in a new and exciting way.

This week we had great fun getting reacquainted with our wonderfully versatile oil pastels – a medium we haven’t used for a while.
We experimented with warm autumnal tones, gradually building the landscape through overlapping colours and using expressive mark making techniques to create depth and texture.
We blended and softened colours with baby oil creating beautiful transitions.
Lovely results everyone, well done 👏

This week our students have been busy developing their blending, burnishing and layering techniques while creating these beautiful grape studies. They've learnt how to build depth, dimension and shine while carefully observing and rendering circular forms and group composition.
It's been a lovely week of learning, experimenting and developing their skills - and we're super pleased with all their results.

A tricky but fun evening playing with chalk and charcoal this week, creating these atmospheric steam trains!

We explored how to create mood and atmosphere through tone, shading and blending, with some really lovely results. A challenging lesson but everyone rose to it brilliantly. Well done 👏
