Last Friday we invited our families in for a Valentines stay and play session 🩷

The team prepared lots of engaging activities which allowed parents and carers to create lasting memories and support all kinds of learning opportunities! 🥰

It was really lovely to see so many faces, thank you to all that could make it. We look forward to our next event which is our Mother's Day Breakfast 🌸

He's arrived with his wonderful elf ready to meet you all 🎅🎄

One more sleep till our Christmas fair 🎅

Please note parking and access will be through Wessex Primary School (down St Adrian's close) NOT powis close. You can find the nursery by going through the green gates to the right of the main reception and across the playground. The gates will be open from 10am for cars to park and entry 🚗

Just to add to the excitement we now also have a HUGE 31 prizes on our raffle with more generous donations in the last few days! ✨️

It's our favourite time of the year and time for our 2025 Christmas fair 🎄

Join us this Saturday from 10am-1pm for lots of festive fun including Santa in his grotto, crafting, games, tombola and lots more ✨️

With so many generous donations from families and businesses we've also managed to create a raffle you won't want to miss! 😱

It's that time of year again where we say goodbye to our school leavers 😪

Last Saturday we enjoyed our Preschool sports day and graduation ceremony. We are so proud of all of our school leavers and how far they've come! We wish them luck in their new schools and know they'll all be brilliant ✨️

Last Monday we held our Fathers Day breakfast 🍽

It was lovely to welcome so many Dad's and important male figures. They were able to spend quality time with their children while enjoying a breakfast roll and a variety of activities.

A big thank you to all of the wonderful male role models in our children's lives 💙

Yesterday our Holiday club and Pre-School children enjoyed a sunny trip to ockwells park! 🛝

Not only did the children have a fun day out and picnic at the park; they also got to experience a bus ride with their friends. Here are some of the highlights of the wonderful day and we look forward to organising our next trip! 🌞

Happy Mother's Day 💝

This morning we wanted to celebrate all of our wonderful mums with a stay and play breakfast. The children enjoyed handing out flowers to their mummy and participating in a variety of activities 🌷

🌟 FUNDRAISING FUN 🌟

This week we've been fundraising for two
charities close to our hearts here at Little Red
Hen!

Today is World Down Syndrome Day 🌈

To celebrate and raise awareness to the
wonderful charity DSUK we are taking part in
the sunflower challenge. Just like sunflowers,
every child blooms and grows in their own way.
We've been planting seeds ready for the
children to take home for a small donation;
they can then watch them grow and bloom
through the spring! 🌻
We also held a cake sale this week with lots of
yummy treats all in support of this fantastic
charity!

The children were challenged to 'Hop for
Hospice' 🐇
We started by reading an amazing story
written to help young children understand what
the hospice is for in a way they can understand. We then spent 5 minutes listening to the hit song 'Hop Little Bunnies', working our way through different hopping challenges! This was all in support of the charity Thames Hospice who provide vital care and support to those with life limiting illnesses along with their families 💚

We want to say a HUGE thank you to all of our
wonderful families and staff who have helped us raise £155.30 for DSUK and £841.15 for Thames Hospice. Massive amounts for both charities and we are so pleased to be able to aid them in the outstanding work they do!
