Welcome to the second half of the summer term. Week one Chagall class cooked up some delicious Thai fish cakes in home cooking and did some beautiful presentation to boot 🥬🍤

This is our new venture opening Sept 26 in Maidenhead!

We are partnering with Shanly Homes to create a new charity offering construction training and qualifications for young people aged 14+. Pathways include a Schools Programme, SEND and Alternative Provision and we have big ambitions for the future!

We would like to say a massive congratulations to our very own Jack Rider and Magda Bennett for taking part and completing the London Marathon yesterday. 🏅

They both absolutely smashed it, Magda finishing in 3:30 and Jack finishing in 3:50.

A warm welcome back to the summer term to all our lovely pupils! We have been enjoying hearing about their Easter break adventures and can't wait to see what this term brings. ☀️☀️☀️

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Following last weeks reports of a small explosion in the school distillery, we want to re-assure parents that their regular gin delivery will be arriving in time for the Easter weekend. We are happy to report that Miss Mockery sustained only minor injuries in the explosion and we are confident her eyesight will return to normal in time for her to mark the students Brewing BTEC coursework which was only partially damaged.

1st April 2026

As you may have heard, we have an elephant in the art room, his name is Rafiee.

He will be part of the Trunks across the Thames herd, currently about 57 strong, that will be on display through Windsor, Slough and Maidenhead.

The children have all been decorating him, inspired by the Malaysian artist, Rafiee Ghani and the final layer of the decoration, doodling organic pattern,has been applied by the older students and staff.

He is leaving us for the herd this week, and then returning permanently in October, we can’t wait to see him as part of the bigger exhibition! 🐘🐘🐘
