Three more books that children enjoyed this week while they stepped into the world of minibeast, dinosaurs and the three little pigs.

On Wednesday we ate through three plums ...🐛
Little ones enjoyed trying some of the food from
" The very hungry Caterpillar" story while we read the book together.

This week we are celebrating World book day at Happy Crickets 📖
The children love our story times. And they really enjoy exploring the different story trays after we read the stories. They use their imagination and language that suits the story whilst playing in the trays.

Celebrating Chinese New Year 🇨🇳
We celebrated Chinese new year with different sensory, messy and art activities.
The children enjoyed exploring different textures. The older children used chopsticks to write in the sand whilst the little ones made different marks too.
They had the chance to taste traditional Chinese cookies, fortune cookies too.

Pancake and cooking week 🥞🧑‍🍳🧁

The children got creative with play dough making lots of different recipes, pancakes, cupcakes and chocolate.

We also enjoyed eating pancakes for pudding 😋

Valentine’s Day themed activities ❤️

The children enjoyed making and decorating cupcakes to take home, having a tea party, painting, colouring, gluing and sticking. Practising important fine motor skills.

The children are obsessed with dinosaurs at the moment so we decided to do lots of fun messy activities using them 🦕🦖

We also had some quieter moments practicing fine motor skills by drawing, sticking and making puzzles

Remembrance Day

We wear a poppy

Our annual bonfire night with the children 🔥
