Just 12 weeks post injury
Ruptured PCL, sprained ACL, medial miniscus tear, and large tear through posterior horn.
Sprain LCL
Ruptured popliteus tendon.
Level 2 sprain gastrocnemius origin.
Was strongly advised by pyshio and surgeon to have it operated asap.
If that was the case I would still be on crutches with a leg brace now.
Rather for the past 3-4 weeks I’m back to full training and strength. Balance is good , movement for JJ is good (butterfly hooks knee shields) no issues wrestling and shooting. Back comfortably using plate loaded leg press up to 300kg along side heavy leg extensions and all that ‘they say’ should be possible.
After years you should know your body well enough , so in this case I was the judge and did what I felt right with my own rehab starting the day after.
With some advice from friends and GoPerform I can say my rehab and return has been quick and successful.
The next stage to getting back to competing later this year 💪😂

Back with the WMSG team tomorrow .
I will be there for both classes tomorrow Wednesday and the Friday morning class.
I am then away for 2 weeks with family holiday.
Classes will run as per normal with Andrew Sherwood taking Mondays , RagsBJJ taking Wednesdays session, Michael Williams the Friday morning and .jksn doing Sunday.
Please can I ask people to use the allocated booking link for the classes to keep things simple for them and to track numbers.
If this is a real problem or hassle just let me know and we can sort it out on my return.
Most important please keep training and work together to improve and bring the team up as one. 🙏🙏
Hope to see many tomorrow
God bless 🙏

I’ve competed yearly from 17 to now 25 (ok I mean 44) at high level high intensity sport.
10 years competing and winning national and international powerlifting comps. It still makes me laugh when I see some s**t pts try and teach someone how to squat, bench or deadlift with variable form and body alignment but then see then struggling to squat bench and deadlift 60kg probably suggest why.
Around 15 professional MMA fights but not best of record (and actually feel and believe I could compete better at this older age with more time put into the sport
Around 15 unlicensed boxing fight winning all by 4.
Lost number of BJJ and grappling comps.
Freestyle wrestling comps
And wako kickboxing bouts and taking 1st place in 2018 nations which was a great transition after only working specific kicks with coach .r.d.promotions for a week before.
I’ve always got a mixture of fear, anxiety. Excitement and mix of emotions that later I’ve learnt to accept and neutralize.
That’s normal.
For a while I’ve had several people saying about starting or coming back to training. But it never happens but then I’ll see them or get a message again saying the same a couple weeks later.
All sorts of excuses , but as I say to the excuses are no more that a way to try and make yourself feel better. To me your either there or not again!
I’ve managed daily training for an extensive period of well over 25 years. All whilst working 50-60 hr weeks and still often do , whilst trying to be there as much as possible for 3 kids and wondering wife. Never missed birthdays. Holidays, special occasions, walked kids to school. At school for special days and loads more.
SO if I don’t give you any sympathy for not training or just take your comments of training with a pinch of salt it’s just because I’ve heard it before.
When young an old friend and mentor said to me ‘Keith , in life there are doers and talkers’ ‘don’t be the latter and surround yourself by doers’ ‘a man sticks to his words.
As the great tony Montana
‘I never fu**ed anyone over in my life that didn’t have it coming to them. You got that, all I have is this world is my Ball and my word, and I don’t break them fo no one’
