While we don’t expect our own dog to bite, it’s important to remember any dog can bite if they feel they have no other option.

Please teach your child to respect your dog’s boundaries. It is especially important to leave your dog alone when they are sleeping, eating, or if they have a toy they really like.

Can you help us out??

We’ve been spending a lot of time lately updating, changing and improving our space inside and out but we still have a long wish list to get our desired result.

Maybe you have some items at home similar to these below that aren’t being used anymore and you’ve been thinking about relocating them to free up some space we could take them off your hands, or maybe if you see someone else selling similar items you could send us a link in a message?

The pictures are for inspiration only, it does not need to be exactly the same as these!

In particular we are looking for
- a thick mat/rug which will be comfortable for the quiet area, along with large cushions - neutral colours 🙂
- a small bookcase that will show the front covers of the books
-wooden or silicone open ended toys
-large artificial plant
-children’s mirrors

We’re going on an egg hunt 🐣

How lucky are we that one of our littles found this book in the park and brought it in for us all to read!

The weather was definitely on our side the last 2 weeks as we focused on the topic of “rain” 💦
We went on a muddy puddle walk and collected sticks to make rainmakers, learnt a new rain song, picked some stories about rain from the local library, discussed what can happen with too much or too little rain & measured the rainfall from one week. Disclaimer: it was A LOT 🤣

Important reminder to cut small food items lengthways into quarters or halves ❤️

Tragically, two young children have died within days of each other after choking on food. One little boy choked on a grape.

The size and shape of whole grapes means they can block a child’s airway and can be difficult to dislodge with standard first aid techniques.

That’s why grapes and other round foods such as cherry tomatoes, blueberries and cherries should be chopped in half lengthways and ideally in quarters before being given to children.

Wow! What an emotional couple of days we’ve had preparing to break for the summer holidays. We have been well and truly spoilt by our wonderful, lovely families ❤️

We’ve had to say a sad goodbye to a few of our big boys and girls as they leave us to start their different schools, most of whom we have had since 1 years old 😩 we are so lucky to have spent such a long time caring for them and are very grateful that we will get to care for their siblings/family members so it’s not goodbye forever!

Thanks so much to each and every one of our families for their support and kindness this school year, and thank you for choosing and trusting us 💖
