Our family picnic was an event to remember … thank you to all our families and invited guests who joined us last week for garden games and a celebration of our first year of Integrated Education. The rain added to the adventure as our community came to the rescue with gazebos galore, and we were able to enjoy our nursery indoors and outdoors, planting 3 trees at the front of our nursery school to mark the occasion, as well as raising our latest Green Flag!
Our vision of ‘Exploring, Learning and Celebrating Together’ was in action throughout the day, as we shared our nursery experience with our children, family members and community. Our children are at the heart of everything we do in Magherafelt Integrated Nursery School, and we had the best day. We hope that our vision takes root, grows and flourishes, and that the seeds of integration, mutual respect and understanding are scattered and embedded in the wider community.
