Primary 7 attend morning Mass
Today was the first Friday that pupils from St. Brigid’s attended morning Mass in Our Lady of Mercy Church. The Primary 7’s were made feel so welcome by Father Graham and the Parishoners. This is one of our favourite traditions in school, and P7 were delighted to start this off today!

Welcome back to school!All pupils can arrive from 9am. Class begins at 9.15am. P1 pupils go home at 12 noon, P2 and P3 go home at 2pm, all other classes go home at 3pm.P1 pupils do not require a packed lunch during the first two weeks just a healthy snack for break time!New School Dinner Menu has been uploaded- please note that it should be CORRECT CHANGE ONLY! Dinner costs £3.10 and toast is 30p per slice. Ensure money is clearly labelled with pupil name and class and in an envelope for the School Kitchen.Morning Club- If you wish your child to attend Morning Club please contact the School Office for a booking form.

Celebrating 25 years of Walsh’s Hotel
Thanks to Walsh's Hotel for including us in their celebrations of 25 years in business. Pupils participated in a colouring competition and quiz. Kieran Bradley of Walsh's Hotel presented the very generous prizes to the winners in each key stage. Every pupil also received a voucher for a free dessert in the restaurant.

Year 7 Craft Fair
Our Year 7 pupils held their annual Craft Fair on Monday 29th June. They sold crafts, uniform and books. Thank you everyone for coming along and spending so generously. The children raised an amazing £464 and all proceeds have been donated to Cancer Research UK.

Cycling Proficiency
Our Year 7 pupils took part in the Cycling Proficiency Programme this Term. They worked extremely hard to learn the correct manoeuvres and they all displayed excellent skill on their bicycles. Congratulations Primary 7 pupils!
