Today, organised by Ms Shaw and Miss McKenna, our children took part in a special Prayer Walk for Peace around our school grounds as we marked the Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima. Walking quietly together, the children paused at different points to pray for peace in their own hearts, in our school, in their families, in our community and throughout the whole world. Guided by the words “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God,” the children reflected beautifully on how they can be peacemakers in their everyday lives. It was a calm, reflective and faith-filled experience, reminding us all of the importance of kindness, respect and love in everything we do. We are very proud of how reverently and thoughtfully our pupils embraced this special time of prayer. 💙🩵
