💙💛💙💛Our P7 footballers had a wonderful day at the second Marian Haskins memorial soccer tournament held in Cahore on Friday and hosted by Draperstown Celtic. The girls and boys played brilliantly all day despite the rain and we are so proud of them!
Our girls team finished in 3rd position overall and our boys made it all the way to the cup final having played excellent football all day. It wasn’t to be our day though and they lost 3-2 to Cullion. Two excellent teams all day.
A brilliant day was had by all. Thank you to everyone at Draperstown Celtic for organising and looking after us so well and a special mention to one of our own pupils who is the very reason the tournament exists. A super idea to get more children playing soccer and enjoying the game in honour of her late grandmother. We are very proud of you. 💙💛💙💛

❤️❤️❤️Our final trip of the year was for our youngest pupils in P1/2 who enjoyed a day out in Bananas play area and then a trip to the cinema to see the new Toy Story 5 movie in Brunswick Movie Bowl! How lucky they were to see such a highly anticipated movie on its opening weekend! 😍😍 A wonderful end to the school year and we especially hope our P1 children enjoyed their very first summer trip after a wonderful first year at school. ❤️❤️❤️

P6/7 had the most amazing fun on their end of year trip where we spent a day team building in the wonderful surroundings of Shane’s Castle, Co.Antrim. The boys and girls worked together so well in every event and Mark the event leader remarked many times on how wonderful they were to work with. Their listening skills and overall enthusiasm and determination to succeed were second to none according to him. “One of the best schools we have ever had” was one phrase used! Such a lovely compliment for our pupils but nothing we didn’t already know! We have the best in the world ❤️❤️❤️
There were so many photos of all the fun that went on that we simply couldn’t post them all here but hopefully this small snapshot will give everyone some idea of the fun we had!!! A brilliant way to end another brilliant year.

Our P2 and P3 pupils had a fantastic time on their end of year trip to Rosepark Farm Ballymoney 🧑🏼‍🌾 The children loved meeting and feeding the animals, exploring the farm and enjoying the outdoors with their friends. It was a wonderful day filled with fun and lots of laughter! A big thank you to everyone at Rosepark Farm for making our visit so enjoyable. What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a fantastic school year! 😊🚜🐥🛝

Primary 4 and 5 had a fantastic time on their end of year trip to Coleraine Movie House Cinema, The Jet Centre 🍿🎳🎬The children enjoyed bowling, watching a movie and spending time playing in the arcade. 👾🎰 They had so much fun and made lots of wonderful memories together. As always, they were a pleasure to take out and we are so proud of how well they represented our school. A wonderful day to celebrate a fantastic year together! ☺️

💙💛💙💛What a day these girls had at the Ladies Football Castle Cup competition. The second day on the trot after yesterday’s camogie they played out of their skins all day to come 2nd in the group and reach the Semi finals against a very strong Moneynick team who were the eventual winners of the competition.
The level of team work, effort and commitment shown by every girl was just outstanding. The girls can be incredibly proud of how well they performed losing out by a goal in the last 10 seconds of the match.
We couldn’t be prouder of you girls. You represented our school, Ballinascreen GAC and your families with distinction and to our P7s who have been playing on our teams from as young as P5 in some instances - thank you for everything -what lucky schools to be gaining such super sportswomen 💙💛💙💛
