Easter Bonnet Parade - March 22nd🐣🥚👒
We are very egg-cited to let remind you that we have arranged our annual Foundation Learning (Nursery to Year 2) Easter Bonnet Parade around Maerdy on Friday 22nd March. The parade will take place after registration at 9:20am from school and we shall walk together up to the park and back (weather permitting). Foundation Learning Children should be accompanied by an adult. Please let class teachers know if you are unable to attend (seesaw, drop off/pick up) in order for us to arrange supervision. We shall have prizes for the best decorated bonnets/hats.
Also, in order to support families, we are holding family Easter craft sessions after school on; mon 18th, Tues 19th or Thurs 21st between 3 and 4pm. In these sessions you will need to bring your own hat/bonnet and we will provide resources for you to decorate them with. If you would like to do this, please can you let us know by completing the form that will be sent out via text message later today.
Whole School Egg Rolling and best decorated
March 22nd
Whole school nursery to year 6- boil two eggs.
Egg 1- decorate to win a prize.
Egg 2- egg rolling competition. roll your egg furthest to win a prize.
Bring into school on Friday 22nd.
In addition to this teachers provide prizes for every child to enter into our egg raffle.
We always have such a fun day!
