MESSAGE FROM OUR YEAR 6'S ON THE ISLE OF MAN!

Lovely weather so an ultra-calm crossing. Sunny in the Isle of Man too. All children happy to arrive and were complimented on the ferry as a lovely well behaved group by a passenger. Already busy on one activity: air-rifle shooting, field archer, axe-throwing and cross-bow archery. Great fun. We expect to be eating chicken, salad and chips for tea! Plus lemon cake! After tea we will be heading for a walk down to the beach. A lovely end to a lovely day.

Starting secondary school is about so much more than new teachers and timetables — it’s about confidence, building friendships, opportunities, and feeling part of a community. ✨

At All Hallows, transition begins long before September. We work closely with primary schools, meet students during Year 6, and offer a dedicated transition programme, including our transition residential, designed to help every child feel comfortable, confident, and excited for the next chapter.

By the time our new Year 7 students arrive in September, many already recognise familiar faces, know their form tutors, and have started building friendships.

We are proud to create an environment where every child feels welcomed, supported, and ready to thrive from day one.

This Friday is the Marian Procession where we will join school.
We ask that all children please bring a flower with them Friday morning so we can make a class bouquet 💐

TUESDAY 2ND JUNE!

Come and join us for an afternoon of gardening around the school. As spring has sprung and we race towards summer, now is the time for us to get rid of the weeds and plant some new beautiful flowers around the school. Any enthusiastic and green fingered children and parents welcome!

PARENTS AND CARERS WELCOME!

This Friday we are celebrating the month of May with our Marian procession and crowning of Mary. We invite all children to bring to school a flower to contribute to their class display. We are also inviting any parents who would like to join, to attend our service and procession at 2.30pm.

SATs week has come to an end! We want to say a massive well done to all Year 6's that have worked so hard and made everyone so proud!

A massive well done to all Year 6's who are half-way through the SATs week. They have been thoroughly enjoying our daily breakfast club before getting stuck in to the Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling test on Monday and the Reading test today. They are making the school so proud with their efforts! Keep up the good work!

Year 6 enjoyed their trip to the Rugby Club this afternoon to take part in the Crucial Crew! They had some very interesting talks and activities ran by members of the community such as the Police, Nurses and Magistrates.
