๐๐ฃ๐ฃ๐๐ฌ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ฅ ๐ณ - What if I don't know anyone?
We know that choosing the right secondary school for your child can sometimes mean choosing a different school from their friends.
That's why our dedicated Year 7 Transition Programme is designed to help ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐น๐ฒ, ๐บ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฒ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ป๐ด - whether they arrive with 10 friends or none at all.

As soon as your childโs place is confirmed with us, their transition begins. From meeting their form tutor and class on Induction Day, to spending three fun days building friendships and getting to know our staff, we give every child opportunities to meet people and feel comfortable before they even finish Year 6.
If your child is the only one, or one of just two, joining us from their primary school, they will also take part in an additional transition event with other students in the same position โ helping them to know they are not alone. ๐ค
So, when September arrives, they wonโt be starting from scratch. Theyโll already recognise familiar faces, know their form tutor and have started building friendships with their new classmates.
On their first day, Year 7 and Year 12 are the only students in College, giving our new starters the space and time to settle in and begin to find their feet.
And it doesnโt end there.
From Form Tutors and pastoral support, to break-duty staff, our Lay Chaplain and counselling service, there is ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ธ ๐๐ผ.
