A quick reminder for anyone who's been meaning to book Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) in London: there's still time.

The course runs from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November 2026, taught by David Bomzon and Avi Amir from the Pnima International School of Scalp Acupuncture.

We know plenty of practitioners like to book nearer the date, and that's fine. Places are limited, though, and it would be a shame to leave it a week too late and find there's no room left.

There's also a practical reason to book sooner. The online course material is sent to you as soon as you book, so the earlier you're in, the more time you'll have to work through the theory before the three days in the classroom.

- Sensory, brain and tinnitus points
- Neck and elbow diagnostics
- Treating acute and chronic pain and neurological conditions

You didn't mean to. You weren't even looking properly. Your brain did the assessment for you.

Sorry, occupational hazard.

What does our TCM Acupuncture Diploma include? Swipe through to find out.

This is our Level 5 diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture. You'll train in the classroom one weekend a month for twelve months, with time afterwards to complete your case studies and essays.

Along the way you'll cover:
- Meridian and organ theory
- Health and safety
- TCM diagnosis, including tongue and pulse
- Ear acupuncture
- Cautionary needling
- Much much more

You'll also get a highly discounted year's membership of the Acupuncture Association. The diploma is awarded on successful completion and is accepted by most UK insurance companies, so once you've qualified you can get insured and open your own practice.

Some of us can't think about anything until there's a cup of tea in hand, others need ten minutes of quiet after a full day of talking, a few will already have the washing machine on its third load, and there's always one who finally opens the inbox they've been ignoring all week.

Has your washing machine done more hours this week than you have? If so, it might be time to list it on your website as a member of staff.

Towels, couch covers, face cradle covers, blankets, the lot. You finish your last client, tidy the room, and then the second shift starts: a mountain of washing and a quick check there's enough fabric conditioner to get you through tomorrow.

If you've never had to run a towel wash at 10pm, we'd love to know your secret.

Already doing Chinese fire cupping with your clients? This is the next step.

Our Advanced Fire Cupping course runs in Macclesfield on 6th December. It's a one-day course for practitioners who already hold a fire cupping qualification and want more options in the treatment room.

You'll learn water cupping, ice cupping and geothermal cupping, extra-strength protocols, and how to combine cupping with herbs, moxa and needles. The day also covers treating musculoskeletal injuries, trigger point release, myofascial mapping, an overview of bloodletting, and the legal responsibilities that come with advanced work.

Lots of practitioners use qigong for themselves. Far fewer feel confident teaching it to anyone else.

That's what this two-day course in Macclesfield is for. On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November, guest instructor John Millar will take you through four basic qigong movements, how to adapt them physically and energetically, and how to pass them on to clients safely.

Alongside the form, you'll cover the theory behind it, including balancing Hun and Po, releasing and returning, and Jing, Qi and Shen. You'll also look at learning styles, teaching methods, contraindications and health and safety. There's plenty of teaching practice, so you'll get to lead as well as follow.

It suits therapists who'd like to add simple qigong to their treatments or aftercare advice, and anyone thinking about formal qigong teacher training further down the line.

A certificate and 11 CPD hours are awarded on successful completion, and as with all our classroom courses, you'll automatically become a member of the Total Therapy Association. All you need to bring is a pen and your lunch.
