Tweenies have loved exploring the paint outside this morning. We are promoting gross and fine motor skills in the large scale movement to reach the sheets, flick the paint and make big marks with the brushes and using our smaller muscles to squeeze the paint, use the spray bottles and grasp the brushes ! 🖌️🎨☀️
Our favourite part of course though was getting messy 🌈

Oral Hygiene Day 2026.

Today we are learning about good oral hygiene and importance of eating healthy foods and brushing our teeth twice a day!

We have been kindly gifted sticker charts and toothpaste from 'Synergy Dental Practice' for you to have to promote at home. Please note the toothpaste is for children 3+

We have left these in the foyer for you to take home :)

Preschools Tiny Chefs made chicken and chorizo today 🧑‍🍳🥰
We all did very well cutting and chopping the ingredients and were very excited to try it!
It was a hit all round and a nice way to warm us up this afternoon ❤️

🌼🌳Tweenies planted some bulbs at forest school/Tiny growers this morning!

We can’t wait to see them in Spring! 🌳🌼

Tweenie learnt lots about habitats last week🌴

We looked at Jungles, Antarctic and Woodlands.

We read lots of books that had facts about different types of habitats and the animals that live there. We froze some animals and the children did a great job at breaking the ice and saving them, we also made a jungle scene and the children talked about the waterhole and what it might be used for.

Preschool enjoyed making Chicken pies in tiny chefs on Friday! 🧑‍🍳
They all did very well cutting, peeling and chopping and were very excited to try them when they got home!

We put on our safety gloves, listened to instructions and got some nails from our shed🍁🍂

🐛🍂🍁We found a lovely caterpillar in Pre-school forest school this afternoon. The children looked at it carefully, then we found a picture of it in one of our forest school books🐛🍂🍁
