Many of our Alumni always look back at their time at Beech Hall and recall the sport and the camaraderie that goes with team sport. For this reason, we are reaching out to our Alumni so that we can set up some sporting fixtures throughout the school year to bring together, on the pitch, pupils both past and present. If you know of any former pupils / Alumni who may be interested, please help us spread the word and ask them to sign up by sharing this post and the link below.

It is always lovely to hear from Alumni and their memories. We recently received this message from Justin Hunt who attended the school in the 1970s:
"Beech Hall was a great school. We were there under headmaster Hugh Worthington. In the days, when he cancelled lessons when it was the first day of spring and got everyone out doing activities: archery, painting, music etc ... I remember it being a place where everyone was encouraged to excel whatever their interests. I was in the school plays managed by Penny Worthington, Hugh's wife, and they covered everything from Sweeney Todd to Shakespeare. I think for the acting prizes for Sweeney Todd, Hugh gave out pies and razors. I can also remember him complaining about mice in a certain section of the school once and giving us homework to design a foolproof mousetrap. I know because I won the prize!!!"

When hearing from the Alumni, one of the resounding points that comes through is the enjoyment and the memories that everyone has from their time at Beech Hall whether that was from a Preparatory School for boys or the School in its present format. We love to hear from everyone to find out what you are up to now, who you are still in contact with and your memories.
We are trying to encapture as many of these memories as possible as part of the Centenary celebrations. If you would like to share your memories, please click on the link below. You will also be able to upload any photos or documents you may want to share.
