GRANELLI
We have had a great couple of days in GRANELLI class despite the heat. Swimming went well, we worked on time in maths and days of the week and enjoyed soft play. Today we have had transition, PE and a birthday to celebrate in class.

SILK
What a fantastic trip we had today to Holmes Chapel zoo and Redesmere lake.
The pupils and staff all really enjoyed seeing the different animals. We fed the sheep, searched for the hidden wallabies and laughed at the meerkats!
During the animal handling session we experienced stroking a guinea pig, snake, tortoise and baby skunk.
On our way back to school we stopped off at Redesmere lake to feed the ducks, and very demanding geese!

MULBERRY: Art’s Week continued. Today we created a Wall of Joy based on colours and shapes that the children said brought them joy; they were able to express why the colours and shapes brought them joy and expressed how much they’d enjoyed working together to create a project. We are so proud of them, enjoy the photos! Have a lovely evening, Laura and the team 🌳☀️

We have been having some sessions on medical desensitisation and our school nurse brought some equipment to class last week for us to explore. We have continued with it this week and we’re gaining confidence with the equipment. We have also been enjoying Arts’ week and today we created our own art work around colours that bring us joy and happiness.
