🔬 Introduction to A-Level Chemistry Course – August 2026 🔬
Starting A-Level Chemistry in September 2026?

Every year, many students are surprised by just how big the jump is from GCSE to A-Level Chemistry. The pace is faster, the content is more demanding, and new concepts are introduced from the very beginning. Those first few weeks are crucial.
This 4-lesson Introduction to A-Level Chemistry Course has been designed to bridge the gap between GCSE and A-Level, helping students start Year 12 feeling confident, prepared and ready to succeed.
During the course, students will:
✅ Understand the key differences between GCSE and A-Level Chemistry.
✅ Refresh the essential GCSE knowledge that underpins A-Level success.
✅ Learn the language and terminology used at A-Level.
✅ Be introduced to important concepts before they are taught in school or college.
✅ Be introduced to Inorganic, Organic and Physical chemistry.
Who is the course for?
This course is ideal for students who:
• Are beginning A-Level Chemistry in September 2026.
• Want to gain a head start before term begins.
• Would like to feel more confident from day one.
• Are aiming for high grades and want to maximise their chances of success.

The GCSE results have been superb for my students, with all achieving their desired grade or higher, some grade 8 in both maths and chemistry and one student moving from grade 6 to one mark off grade 9 in chemistry, enabling her to do A level chemistry and potentially a degree in medicine. If you are keen for your child to achieve similar results, do get in touch asap as slots are going fast this time of year. What a fantastic set of results my former GCSE students have obtained. All achieving at or above their desired grade, a grade 8 in maths (from grade 6) and one mark off a grade 9 for a student initially at grade 6 in chemistry, enabling the right A levels to be taken for a possible degree in medicine to be started.
