Macclesfield Tutorial College is a small independent college which offers full or part time study courses, supporting tuition, or an approved location to sit exams as a private candidate. Study Courses

Courses at our college are typically at GCSE and A Level but other levels can be accommodated. We offer an extensive range of subjects and the college has an excellent staff of experienced teachers. At Macclesfield Tutorial College we believe that it is the quality of teaching and our focussed approach which produce an exceptional educational outcome. Our tutors’ inspiring approach to education allows students to achieve success in their studies and engage with learning. The college is happy to consider applications from students of all ages and have vast experience working with young and mature students alike. The stimulating learning environment encourages students to gain the qualifications that they need to progress to higher education and take a greater interest in their career prospects. Education is a continual process as students are constantly developing their interests, it our responsibility as educators to fulfil the needs of our students. Supporting Tuition

We maintain an extensive database of qualified and experienced tutors, all of whom are subject experts. All tutors and staff have a valid DBS check and safeguarding measures are in place to ensure you have peace of mind at all times. Lessons can take place in College, online or occasionally in the student's home, according to timetables built to suit your needs. Examination Centre

We are an approved centre with each of the main UK examination boards, as well as Cambridge International, and offer exams in most subjects. Our facilities enable us to support students who need to undertake science practical work, language orals and many other non-exam based forms of assessment.

Autumn '26: Exams at MTC will continue throughout October & November.
