Thank you very much to all the families who have joined me for classes over the past five years and to those who have recommended me to friends, family and clients.

There have been many special moments, I have learned loads about infant massage and nurturing touch, enjoyed facilitating some really great groups many of whom are still in contact with each other.

I am sharing a few snaps from the final session of the most recent group and will be running one more group which is almost full starting Friday 27th February.

With my very best wishes to you all

I qualified as a baby massage instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage four years ago and have really enjoyed meeting some really lovely families over that time.

Today I enjoyed meeting a great group of 10 families (10, babies, 10 Mums and 4 Dad's) for the first of their series of five classes. We focused on massage for the legs and feet today; shared some information about baby massage, poems, tea and cake.

I have made the difficult decision that the next small group baby massage class at Gawsworth Village Hall will be my final course. It will run from 27th February ending before Easter and will be very special. If you or someone you know would like to join please get in touch. The course is suitable for parents with their babies who are not yet crawling. You will learn about baby massage, nurturing touch and form a supportive group.

October 10 marks World Mental Health Day, an important occasion to reflect on family well-being. The emotional health of parents is closely linked to that of their children: a calm, supported, and listened-to parent can transmit confidence and serenity to their little one.
Infant massage, as promoted by IAIM, offers a valuable tool to support this process. Through touch and presence, parents find dedicated time to connect with their child, slow down, and nurture a deep relational bond.
In many countries, our courses provide safe spaces for listening, sharing, and mutual support, where mental health is integral to overall well-being. On this day, we celebrate the fact that every act of care and love contributes to building stronger, more balanced families.
