Join the Rose Queen Parade This Saturday! 💜

All children are invited to take part in this year's Rose Queen Parade on Saturday!

Our Rose Queen has chosen **purple** as this year's special colour, so we'd love everyone joining the parade to wear something purple if they can.

📍 **Meet at Lakeside**
🕜 **1:30pm on Saturday**

We'll have plenty of fun decorations available, including:

💜 Purple ribbon streamers
🥁 Drums
⚔️ Swords
✨ And lots more!

The parade is a wonderful tradition and helps us officially open the day's celebrations. We'd love to see as many children as possible taking part and helping to make it a fantastic start to the event.

No need to book – just come along to Lakeside at 1:30pm and join the fun!

We can't wait to see a sea of purple!

This week, Year 4 completed their Multiplication Tables Check and we celebrated their hard work with an ice-cream on Friday. 👏Unfortunately, one of our Y4 friends wasn’t in, so we’ll do another picture next week. 🤩😎🍦

Well, that’s it for the Oak Class residential 2026! We hope you’ve enjoyed the photos of us making amazing memories on our PGL Boreatton Park adventures! 🌳Our class capybara has made it out of Mrs Smith’s suitcase, but (like the rest of us!) I think he’s a little tired! 😴🤣Well done Oak Class, you’ve been fabulous and you should all be very proud of yourselves! 😍

Thank you to Peter, our PGL group leader who knew all of our names by the morning of day 2 and made the children smile with his card tricks - we will miss you! 🤩 Miss Harrison unfortunately missed the group photo as she was kindly running an errand and we had to board the coach, but I couldn’t do a group post without her on it somewhere! 🥰

Following Miss Harrison’s room inspections, the cabin with the highest tidy points was…cabin 4! 👏Well done boys! 🌟

Boing, boing, boing! Is it trampolining? Is it basketball? Is it volleyball? 🏐 Yes, it’s a bit of all three: it’s aeroball! 🏀 Group 1 are VERY bouncy! 🤣Photos of the winning teams at the end. 🙌👏

From the Tall Timbers lodge to the high timbers of Jacob’s Ladder! Here’s group 2 challenging themselves to climb as high as they could whilst their friends were belaying for them. 👏🤩

Group 2 started off the day with aeroball which involved using skills similar to basketball and volleyball - all whilst jumping up and down on a trampoline and scoring against an opponent! 🏀🏐

We’ve been busy bees this morning! 🐝 After clearing our cabins, we filled our tummies and then went off for our morning activities. 🙌🤩Group 1 tacked Jacob’s Ladder with 3 climbers at a time and our friends belaying. 👍

Meanwhile, whilst Oak class are away, Year 3 are very much enjoying their classroom 😉😅
