Rainow Pre-School

🎶🌳 What a wonderful day at Love Music Trust's concert in the park in Congleton yesterday! Five representatives from Rainow Pre School were there, showcasing their singing skills that they've been developing in their sessions with Victoria throughout the term. They also had the opportunity to make music with other schools that attended.

It’s great to see how the money raised through fundraising has been making a difference in enriching the children's learning. A big thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising efforts. 🌈❤️🎶

🍰 Success is sweet! We are celebrating raising a phenomenal £648 through our post fell race teas and cakes sales! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A heartfelt thank you to all the kind individuals who donated their fabulous cakes and to the mums who volunteered their evening to support our pre-school and raise valuable funds.

Not only did these delicious cakes bring joy to our event, but they also provided a much-needed boost to the admirable runners. 🍰🏃‍♀️

We are grateful to everyone who contributed and to the organisers for being able to take part in this again!

It’s that time of year again 🎅🏽🌲

Rainow Pre-School are excited to be hosting Gifts Galore at Rainow Institute, Stocks Lane on Friday 24th November from 7pm to 9pm.

We have a wide selection of stalls with beautiful gifts, sweet treats and much more!

We would love to create another evening which supports local people and communities so why not come and kick off the festive season with us.

Tickets are £5 per person which includes a glass of Prosecco (or non alcoholic alternative) , a mince pie & a ticket for our amazing raffle!!

Well isn’t our allotment is looking absolutely fantastic? We can't believe how much progress we've made over the past few months, and it's all thanks to the incredible efforts of our amazing community.

First and foremost, we want to extend a huge thank you to all of you who have generously given up your spare time to help create this beautiful space. Whether it was planting, weeding, or simply lending a helping hand, your dedication and hard work have truly paid off.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Karen from Robin Hood Rainow for being so accommodating and allowing us to embark on this wonderful venture. Your support and cooperation have been invaluable, and we couldn't have done it without you.

A special shout out goes to David from Thornsett Landscaping who has not only donated his time but also his resources and hard work to make our allotment dream a reality. Your contribution has made a significant difference, and we are so grateful for your generosity.

Last but not least, we want to give a big thank you to Wickes Macclesfield for their community project and donation of many bags of wood chip.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the incredible teamwork and community spirit that has brought us to this point. We are so proud of what we have accomplished together, and we can't wait to see what else we can achieve in the future.

We had a lovely evening at Rainow Institute courtesy of the The Floral Mill. Thanks to Sarah on her expert tuition and guidance in helping us to create some beautiful autumnal wreaths.
The event was a great opportunity for us to mingle and we are grateful to all who attended and made it a special occasion.

The Floral Mill generously donated their profits to Rainow Pre School, which will be so useful to the children over the forthcoming months. Stay tuned for more exciting events!

🌱🐸 Today, as we cleared the ground in the allotment project we found a couple of little frogs!
We hope they enjoy the space as much as we do and will keep an eye on them as we continue our adventures.

Please feel free to share any ideas about what we could do with the space, including recycling old tyres/using natural materials and encouraging more wildlife. 🦔🐸💚
