This was a fantastic workshop on blending colours, using groups of colours together and how watercolours act on paper! The results were amazing!

I've been so lucky to work with so many fantastic artists over these last couple of years! Some of you have recently requested a bi monthly lesson, so alongside my usual workshops, I am now offering The Sketchbook Studio! This is a brilliant opportunity to build a wonderful record of skills and techniques. The places are limited on this workshop so please message asap to secure the place. We are lucky that St. Anne's RNLI are running Water Safety Sessions as part of our SAS programme this year. This is an excellent opportunity for local children, age 5-11, to learn about the Water Safety Code, how to spot dangers, what to do in an emergency situation and how to stay safe in or around the water. There will also be a tour of the lifeboat station with an opportunity to see the lifeboat and learn about the history of the RNLI. This is a session not to be missed. Hope you don’t mind me sharing this Jemma Wolstencroft but it’s so impressive!
Jemma and her girls come to my workshops… I message her to see if they were coming last week and her response was … “sorry we can’t, I’m swimming back to England from the Isle of Man!” 😳😆 as far as reasons to miss a workshop go this is a pretty good one!
Always impressive to see strong women taking on challenges like this! 💙
