Learning Curve Holiday Club

Learning Curve Holiday Club On Monday 24th July to Friday 1st September, Learning Curve Nursery Group will be holding a summer holiday club.

Learning Curve Holiday Club is based at Lytham Lodge Nursery, Ballam Road, Lytham, FY8 1LE

The holiday club hosts a whole range of fun games, arts and crafts, sporting activities and daily outings for children attending school aged 4-10 years. The club will be based at The Pavilion, AKS School, Lytham St Annes. The holiday club will involve a range of fun games, arts and crafts, sporting activities and daily outings. What an awesome week we are having at holiday club!!

We have enjoyed team games, challenges, getting creative, getting active and just having so much fun.

Today we have played dodgeball, painted, play dough, cooperative games, tennis and we will be ending the day with our favourite putting on a talent show.

It’s our last day at October holiday club we are all danced out with our Halloween party, we have been dancing to musical statuses, musical bumps and pass the parcel.
We have also been carving a pumpkin, which we got very messy and it was all slimy.
We had a party tea which was very delicious.
We can’t wait for the next holiday club to see you all again soon!!!

Today in October holiday club we have been very messy making magic potions to cast spells on our friends we used food colouring, bicarbonate soda and vinegar we watched the potion explode into the witches cauldron and watched the colours bubbly together.
Outside in the garden we enjoyed doing zombie races for Halloween.
In the afternoon we enjoyed making slime and dancing to Halloween songs.
We have made a boat using a big cardboard box where we got inside and decorated it into a boat and went on a holiday club cruise.
we can’t wait for tomorrow and see what fun and exciting things we get up to!!

It’s been a very wet day in holiday club but it doesn’t stop us having fun!!
We have been making play dough spiders using pipe cleaners and googly eyes.
This afternoon we have carved some pumpkins using the scoops and knives, we got very messy.
We have also been doing a talent show where we got involved in dancing and singing in front of our friends, we enjoyed showing off our dance moves.
What a great day we have had and we can’t wait what fun Halloween activities we have tomorrow!!

Today we have had a fantastic time in the October holiday club!!
We have been busy making some witches/wizard hats using different props such as paper plates, paper which we decorated and put into a cone shape to make the hat then we used the scissors carefully to cut a small circle to place our hat inside to make a witches hat. We did a parade with our hats on with all our friends!
Outside we enjoyed playing dodgeball and witches messy kitchen game, where we had to sneak into the witches kitchen and take all her potions without waking her up and sneak back to the other side with her potions to place inside her caldron so she can get the ingredients to make her magic spells.
In the afternoon we decorated some delicious biscuits to make eyeballs and pumpkins by adding icing sugar, food colouring and sweets.
What a fun and exciting day we had, we can’t wait what fun activities we do tomorrow in holiday club!!

We have had a fantastic first day of October Holiday Club!!
We have had lots of Halloween fun, making witches’ dens using different materials such as cardboard boxes and tubes. We put on our witches hats and made some magic potions with lots of spiders and eye balls!!
Outside we enjoyed moving like different Halloween characters such as zombies, ghosts, witches and even being a big pumpkin.
In the afternoon we got very messy making glitter slime and experimenting by adding in beads and different colours.
We can’t wait for more fun and exciting activities tomorrow in holiday club!

So today is our last day of our summer holiday club 🥺BUT we have had the bes time over the last 6 weeks with our fun games and activities, a big thank you to parents and the children for allowing us to make this the fun summer! Today we we had our Friday talent show, playdough Making, treasure hunt, dodgeball and den building. Hope to see you all
