📢Calling all MUMS 📢 this is your Summer holiday check-in:

I just wanted to do a quick summer holiday check-in with you because last night on our zoom call one Mum told me she’s just exhausted so today I’m asking how are you actually doing?

Because maybe you’re exhausted like this Mum from constantly entertaining her anxious, clingy child.

And desperately trying to keep everyone happy?

You may be struggling to get any time to yourself and like this Mum, she can’t even go upstairs or take a relaxing bath without being needed.

You love them. Of course you do. ❤️

But being needed every minute of every day is exhausting. And as Mum’s we carry guilt about needing some space and a break

So here’s your reminder that you matter too

You don’t have to spend every waking moment entertaining your children.

And you don’t have to feel guilty for needing some time for you.

Even 10 minutes with a coffee in peace counts.

Your child doesn’t need a perfect, endlessly available mum.

They need a mum who gets to refill her own cup too. ❤️

I know that isn’t easy, I’ve been where you are now when my 4 were younger but if you can try to look for a guilt-free 10 mins here and there, your nervous system will thank you.

Please let go of the mum-guilt and take a breath because I know you’re doing better than you think.

Here for you if you need a pick-me-up chat.

Let’s bury the summer holiday expectations.

The Pinterest-perfect days.
The endless activities.
The days out you feel you should be doing.
The pressure to make memories every single day.

Because when they look back in years to come, your child probably won’t remember whether you took them somewhere amazing every Tuesday.

They’ll remember how it actually FELT to be with you.

The silly conversations.
The cuddles on the sofa.
Eating ice cream in the garden or watching a fave Xmas film in the Summer hols …🍿… just because you can 🥳
Getting bored and staying in your pj’s all day if you want to.
Laughing altogether at a family ‘in-joke’ that nobody else gets.

And if you’re parenting an anxious or neurodivergent child, sometimes less really is more.

You don’t need to fill every minute.

You don’t need to turn the holidays into a homework project.

Sometimes the most beautiful thing you can give your child is your presence because you really are enough❤️

So here’s your permission to release the pressure to create the “perfect summer”…

…and simply be with your child.

Because that will be what their body, mind and soul treasures the most and what stays with them forever ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been speaking with women last week and reflecting on my own personal experiences around the whole ‘Rejection’ issue…

Just that word feels heavy, sad, lonely and lost.

You may be the one who feels rejected because your partner ended it.

Or

You may be the one who ended the relationship - probably because you felt rejected emotionally, physically & psychologically.

Whether you ended it or not…rejection hits the heart hard.

Whilst it’s important to acknowledge this hurt, feel the pain, the ache and the heartbreak you don’t have to let it define you or wear it like a cloak of unworthiness forevermore.

This week, I’ve been talking with women about REFRAMING it (when we’re emotionally ready) and asking:

“What if the relationship ending wasn’t a sign that you weren’t enough…

What if it was life redirecting you away from confusion, anxiety, walking on eggshells and constantly questioning your own reality?’

When someone rejects you, it’s our natural reaction to feel hurt.

But time and again women are telling me that further down the line, it’s actually been the greatest gift 🎁 they could have received.

Utterly devastating and heartbreaking and life changing at the same time.

In time, they’ve come to realise the Rejection has led them to a Redirection that’s led to a peace their body, mind & soul had quietly been craving for, for years.

‘Him having an affair was the best thing that happened to me.’ One of the women told me.

✨So today, could you be open to perhaps starting to see a rejection as a redirection?

I’d love to know your thoughts. Has something you once saw as rejection turned out to be exactly what you needed?

If you’re at the raw end of this and need support, I offer a free 30 min clarity call.

Are you doubting yourself and your own reality?

Maybe you’ve just been feeling ‘off’ and you’re putting it down to menopause, stress, tiredness, worry about the kids, exhaustion from looking after parents…

Perhaps these are the reasons or maybe it’s something deeper rooted….could it be something that’s been buried for a while that is still niggling away at you quietly yet persistently?

My Relationship Clarity Programme won’t tell you what to do or not to do, it won’t judge you for asking questions and it won’t criticise your feelings.

What it will do is give you clarity on the patterns that have been repeated in your life, clarity of vision so you can see exactly where you’re at, clarity of mind to choose…to stay, to go, to pause…

Because you’re done with absorbing it all and carrying the emotional load because nobody else can, you’re ready to set it all down and take a calm, compassionate look at it all before the load breaks your back.

This is your chance to put it down, pause, breathe, crest space in your body and mind. It’s your life and you have a choice 🤍
