It's been a busy start to the academic year here at Tuition Together.

New pupils have started with us, our existing pupils have returned to continue their learning journeys and we still have some space if you would like your child to gain extra help and improve their confidence.

October is a great time for you to ask your child's teacher how they have settled into their new class, where their strengths are and if there are any areas for improvement. Catch those weaker points now - before you know it a full term will have passed by and your child may be finding things trickier.

Imagine it's January. You have just received your Enlish Lit mock result - Grade 2 and English Language mock result - Grade 3 😔

Fast forward to today and you have achieved a grade 6 for Lit and a grade 7 for Language 🥳

This is the story of one of my lovely students who had 4 months of tuition with me leading up to his exams.

I couldn't be happier for him! So we'll deserved. Now go and smash your A Levels 😃

We are still teaching and learning over the Summer 😃

Last night, this lovely pair of Year 3 pupils worked really hard on their grammar and spellings with a warm up activity and then applied their learning to a creative writing task.

The result: two fantastic pieces of individual writing. Ideas linked together using a range of sentence types and an increased range of vocabulary to provide interest.

I'm absolutely thrilled to welcome Gemma to my team 😀.

I have had the pleasure of working with Gemma before and I'm over the moon that she has decided to join Tuition Together.

Gemma is a fantastic Early Years and KS1 specialist. She is an extremely experienced and talented teacher and she promotes creative and interactive learning. Gemma always puts the needs of the children in her care at the heart of learning.

Gemma will be covering the areas of Poulton-Le-Fylde, Kirkham and Wesham and tutoring Early Years and KS1 learners.

Introducing Beccy:

👋 Hello, I'm Beccy.

🌍 I'm from London originally but I have landed in Lancashire after a five year stint in Asia.
👩‍🏫 I'm a qualified primary school teacher and I also have a CELTA qualification to teach English as a foreign language.

❤ I've been teaching for ten years and what I love about tutoring is the ability to really personalise lessons to suit individual learners.

My hobbies at the moment revolve around my one year old; we spend lots of time on walks and in playgrounds.
I also love 📖 reading, 🍴 cooking, and a bit of 🪢 crochet when I get the chance.

I look forward to meeting you when you embark on your learning journey with me 😃.

Hello everyone,

I'm off this week as our 2 year old had an adenotonsilectomy on Friday so I want to be at home with her to support her through her recovery.

I will still be able to answer your messages when I get chance and I will also pop a few posts up with exciting information but the page may be a little quieter than usual.
