As a current Secondary teacher in a local school I am up to date with the latest specifications and exam requirements. I currently work in school part time, which enables me to offer sessions during the day for homeschool stud

ents on the days when I am not in school, as well as afternoon/evening sessions subject to availability. I can offer stand alone sessions as well as more regular, weekly one hour lessons with the precise content being tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Sessions can be online or in person. My focus is always to support the learning taking place in school/at home to develop any areas of insecurity so that students gain confidence for formal assessment and hopefully have some fun at the same time! Learning should be enjoyable and I certainly enjoy my subject. It is my hope that my enthusiasm and encouragement will inspire and empower others to achieve their potential. The timing of lessons is subject to relative flexibility and I can offer school-time hours as well as after-school on arrangement. My rates are between £25-40 an hour depending on the key stage and the level of support required. Our Story

I am a qualified secondary English teacher based in Lymington, available for tutoring English at KS3 and GCSE level as well as English Literature to A level. I have an up to date DBS certificate. Having worked in Secondary schools for a number of years I left the classroom to become a full time mum. I now offer one-to-one tutoring sessions alongside raising my three young children. I can offer stand alone sessions as well as more regular, weekly one hour lessons with the precise content being tailored to meet the needs of each individual. If you would like to arrange for an initial consultation session to discuss options before tuition takes place, that is also possible. My focus is always to support the learning taking place in school/at home to develop any areas of insecurity so that students gain confidence for formal assessment and hopefully have some fun at the same time!
