We would like to wish all of our amazing families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Saying goodbye is incredibly hard, and we are truly heartbroken that we won’t be able to spend 2026 with you.

The past six years as a Nurture Den family have been nothing short of magical. The love, loyalty, trust, and compassion you have shown us has meant more than words could ever express. We feel so incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with you.

We will miss the children beyond measure. Each and every one of them holds a deeply special place in all of the girls’ hearts, and they will forever be a part of our Nurture Den family. Watching them grow, learn, and shine has been an absolute privilege.

While our hearts are heavy, we know they will go on to do amazing things in their new settings, and we will be cheering them on every step of the way.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything — for the memories, the love, and the support. We will miss you all more than we can say and will carry you with us always.

It is with a very heavy heart that today the Nurture Den closes it’s doors and says goodbye to all of our little friends and their wonderful families 🏡❤️‍🩹

We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past five years and we will never forget all the little faces you trusted us to nurture and care for 🐻🥰

We said goodbye to some of our friends today by having a lovely treat of a babyccino, a Christmas cookie and some colouring! ☕️🍪

We wish you all good luck with your new ventures 🎀✨

Christmas 🎅🏻🎄🐻

This week cubs explored a snow tuff tray, which we made snowballs and had great fun ❄️⛄️

We also had a brilliant time at our nativity show for our mummies and Daddies where we sung lots of Christmas songs and performed our little play 🎶😊

We had a lovely Christmas dinner and a photo shoot with a beautiful background 🎄⛄️

We wish all our amazing little cubs and their families all the best for the future. It has been a pleasure to be apart of their journey so far, we will miss you all 😢🐻🥰

Our big bears have been focused on everything Christmas these past couple of weeks 🐻🎄😁

These amazing children have been super hard at work creating lots of beautiful artwork 🖼 and keepsake momento’s for their lucky parents 🎁🫂

We have been having heaps of fun, with glitter ✨ , paint 🎨 , glue, ribbon 🎀, stickers and more!! The children have really let their creative sides shine and taken such pride in their projects 🥰

We’ve also been practicing for our nativity 🐑 and doing lots of gorgeous singing 🎶

Christmas continues at the cubs 🎅🏻🎄

Cubs had fun exploring our Christmas sparkly tuff tray this week with tinsel, snowmen and moveable Santa’s which we loved to watch move.👀😊🎅🏻

We continued to be creative with our Christmas crafts, with lots of our favourite glitter. 🥰😌

Cubs also had a lot of fun in the garden with their friends 😊👬

Christmas came to cubs this week 🎄🎅🏻

We have started to make some Christmas crafts from a decoration for our trees, and Christmas stampers which was great fun, with the paint.😌🥰

We explored a Christmas tuff tray with lots of red and green colours and used spoons to scoop the rice in to bowls to practice our fine motor skills 🟢🔴

Lots of singing, actions and music. Building with blocks with our friends 🎶🥁

Last week on big bears

We began our week going on a lovely walk onto the field. The children stamped on the frosty grass and enjoyed listening to the crunching sound it made making a visit to the horses.

We also had a variety of rubber ducks that the children really enjoyed playing with in water, on our tuff tray .

Mid week we had a nursey rhyme tuff tray of incy wincy spider we sang along to the song and got to play with the sensory tuff tray filled with coloured rice and Mr Spider.

We ended our week with a few activities that got their cognitive skills working, we practiced our understanding of prepositions in a really fun way.

This week cubs learned all about different parts of our bodies from eyes, noses, mouth etc ✋🏼👁👄👃🏽👂🏼

A tuff tray with a face made from rice and different materials, which we loved to explore and make a mess with
👶🏼😊

We also created our own faces with different parts, which some of our parts are in funny places 🤣🤣

We also created our own body picture with tissue paper and of course our favourite glitter and painting our hands to create a master piece 😌✋🏼

Lots of fun exploring our reflections in a mirror and playing with our new dolls, pointing and naming 👅👄👀

Currently in Cubs the children are loving anything with wheels, so this week our theme was “Things That Go” 🚗🚜🚉⛵️.

We centered all of our play around vehicles mostly, including cars, practicing making a “broom broom” 🔊 sound, trains 🚂, and tractors 🚜 (our favorite as we get to see one mow the grass regularly! ☘️).

We made some amazing artwork, using our fine motor skills to carefully roll our cars in paint and across the paper 📝. As well as watching a ball roll all over our paper whilst covered in paint, showing us the marks it leaves at it travels 🎱🎨.

We made a road on the floor as drove our cars down it, played with lots of balls (rolling and throwing them as far as we could 😆) and kicking balls in the garden!

Such a fun week in cubs 😊🍂🚂🎨🚗

This week on big bears we have been very vocal and musical 🎶

We have been listening to all kinds of different instruments and the sounds they make 🥁🎵

We have had a sensory rice tuff tray with our spoons scooping and filling tubs and bowls and listening to the sound the rice makes falling like the rain ☔️

Some of our children found it very funny and interesting blowing a feather and watching it fly away .

We have also been getting lots of practice in for our Christmas show next month 🎅🏻🎄
