Every week we rescue perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste and make it available to our local community. We purchase a delivery once a week from FareShare & pay volunteers to collect this. We're also really lucky to have wonderful donations from local shop owners, bakerys and allotment owners - meaning our stock changes all the time, so you never know what you might find. If you're struggling, please come along and meet the team!

📍 The Hub (our community building), Church Street, Lyme Regis.

Come along, say hello, and support a project that's helping both people and the planet. 💚

At Lyme Regis Development Trust, we believe that strong communities are built by people supporting one another. 💙

Every week, through projects at The Hub, our community space, we're helping to tackle food poverty, reduce isolation and create opportunities for people of all ages to connect, learn, grow and thrive.

Whether you've attended one of our groups, volunteered your time for our worthwhile cause, donated, hired a room or space, or simply shared our posts. Thank you. Your support helps us make a real difference in our community.

Together, we can continue to ensure that nobody feels alone and that everyone has access to the support they need.

Big love, LRDT

Did you know? People who volunteer regularly report higher levels of happiness and lower stress levels. Studies show that giving your time to help others can boost mood, strengthen community connections, and even improve overall wellbeing.
If you’ve ever thought about getting involved, this is your sign 💛

Our little community cafe, tucked down on Church Street means so much to so many 💛

To re-open the doors on Fridays, we are looking for a few more friendly people to join our volunteering team. If you can spare a few hours, it would mean a lot to us and the people that benefit from visiting the cafe.

If you think you could help, and would like to know more, pop in and see us on Thursday or send us a message here - [email protected]
