The Dot Wood Workshop In 2018 we (LRDT) had the idea to make use of some spare land at the back of our building to create Members only. Annual membership fee £20.

BASIC WOODTURNING

Beginners with Steve

9.30am - 12.30pm

Half day (3 hours) Intensive with Rod Page
10-00am-1pm
Members/Non-Member £75 (includes materials)

Intensive Day session with Rod Page (one to one)
A very special, intensive day spent in the workshop learning alongside our highly awarded local woodturner

**Once a member has shown that they are confident and proficient in the workshop to the satisfaction of our instructors, they will be able to book the workshop for private practice at £5 for 2 hours (not including materials). However, there will need to be two members in the workshop at all times to ensure the health and safety for the users.

We love projects like this; hands-on and super satisfying to make, with a great rewarding end result!

There’s something satisfying about taking raw timber and turning it into something useful. Crafting like this isn’t just about the end result. it’s also about the process: slowing down, working with your hands, and learning a new skill all whilst creating something truly magical from a piece of timber.
