🌿☀️ What an amazing 4 weeks of Holiday Club!☀️🌿

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better 4 weeks, and we’ve had the absolute pleasure of spending it with the most amazing children! 💛

Over the last few weeks, we’ve welcomed lots of new children from all across the Forest of Dean, and it’s been so lovely watching new friendships blossom and everyone settle in, have fun and make memories together. 🥰

We’ve packed so much into our time together, including:

🔬 Science Week and lots of exciting experiments
🌳 Nature walks and blackberry picking
🫐 Making our very own blackberry crumble
👩‍🍳 Getting creative in the mud kitchen
🌳 Trips to the park
🎪 Our very own Holiday Club festival
💦 LOADS of water play, splashing and soaking!
🎭 Plenty of role play and imaginative play
🤹 Learning new circus skills
…and so, so much more!

A huge thank you to every child and family who has joined us over the last 4 weeks. It has been an absolute pleasure having your children with us. They are all amazing, and we hope they’ve had as much fun as we have! ❤️

Now it’s time for our wonderful staff team to put their feet up and enjoy a well-deserved 2-week break. 🥳🌞

We can’t wait to see you all again at our next Holiday Club during October half term! 🍂🎃

What a fantastic day on our Rising 5 trip to Caldicot Castle! 🏰🚌

We had so much fun travelling together on the bus before spending the day exploring the amazing castle. The children loved discovering the moat and venturing into the dungeon, using their imaginations as they learned all about the castle's history.

After all that exploring, we enjoyed a fabulous picnic together in the sunshine, followed by a well-earned ice cream 🍦😊.

It was a day full of adventure, laughter, and wonderful memories. We are so proud of how well everyone behaved and how enthusiastically they embraced the experience. Well done, Rising 5’s 🤩

A huge **THANK YOU** to everyone who supported our fundraising stall at the Village Carnival! 🎉💛

We'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited us, made a donation, and helped support our playschool. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much to us.

We're delighted to share that, together, we raised an incredible £314.17 👏 Every penny will go towards providing new resources and enriching experiences for our wonderful children.

Winners of the giant soft toys have been contacted - congratulations Alis on winning the giant sheep and Dylan on winning the giant dinosaur 🤩

Thank you for helping make the day such a success and for continuing to support our playschool. We really do have the best community!

Every game, song, and activity helps lay the foundation for lifelong learning and development. 🌟 Play is what we do best here!!!!

Booking of our ever popular Summer Holiday Club is now open and we've got plenty of exciting activities and experiences planned to keep all the children entertained throughout the summer 🤩

We welcome children aged 2 to 11 and sessions run 7.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday for the first four weeks of the Summer Holidays ☀️

Sessions are booking up fast so be sure to return your booking forms by Friday 19th June 2026 🤩
