Last week , our theme was inspired by the lovely story Handa’s Surprise! The children had a wonderful time bringing the story to life through hands-on learning and exploration.
We took a trip to our local shops where the children discovered a variety of fruits (And a big fish!) , just like Handa. They explored different textures, smelt the fresh produce, and talked about the colours and shapes they could see. Along the way, we also discussed healthy eating, helping the children understand which foods are healthy and not healthy.
Through this activity, the children developed their sensory skills, language and communication, and a better understanding of the world around them. They also enjoyed making connections to the story, predicting what might happen and sharing their own ideas.

Yesterday we celebrated Culture day as part of our culture week theme.
The children had so much fun exploring different traditional foods, tasting new flavours, and learning about what makes each of us unique. We looked at packed lunches from around the world, talked about our identities, and shared what makes us proud.
It was wonderful to see the children dressed in their traditional clothes, full of excitement and confidence.
We also enjoyed dancing to traditional music, filling the nursery with energy!
To make the day extra special, we celebrated with an Eid Morning & Afternoon Tea, where the children enjoyed delicious halwa and paratha – a big hit with everyone! 😋
A truly special day celebrating diversity, inclusion, and togetherness. ❤️

Last week Friday , We had such a fun and cosy day while raising money for Children in Need.
It was a great opportunity for the children to learn about the importance of giving, kindness, and supporting others in need.
Thank you to everyone who took part, donated, and wore their PJs with pride!

This week the children have been busy exploring the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! They’ve been learning big new words like “extinct”, “fossil” and “prehistoric”, and getting hands-on with some amazing sensory play.
We had dinosaurs hidden in jelly and frozen in ice, where the children used different tools to break them free — great for building strength, coordination, and problem-solving skills!

Today we took some of our clever munchkins out for a little walk to learn all about road safety!
They practised the golden rules — Stop, Look, Listen and Think — before crossing, and did such a fantastic job remembering to stay safe near the roads.
It’s amazing how quickly they pick things up when learning through real-life experiences. Well done all!

We’re so excited to share that we’ve WON the Luton in Bloom competition in the Early Years category!
A big well done to our amazing children who helped grow fruit and vegetables – from planting the seeds, watching them grow, to helping take care of them every day. You’ve all done such a brilliant job!
A huge thank you to our lovely staff who supported and encouraged the children throughout. We’re really proud of everyone involved!
What a great start to the new academic year!!
