Well done to our Year 5 and 6 team for their performances in the Quadkids event yesterday at Stockwood Atheltics track, where they showed some amazing skills in sprinting, jumping, throwing and the 600m. Up against stiff competition, they continued to do their best, finishing 4th overall. They showed great support for each other throughout, and as always, were fantastic ambassadors for the school. We visited the park at the end of the event- as a little reward!! Thank you to Vicki and the young leaders for making the event run so smoothly.

The photos don't show how drizzly and wet it was, but it was a perfect day to have Keith from Hertfordshire GAA and John from St. Colman's Club in to introduce Hurling to the children! With sliotars, hurleys and helmets, they were all ready for action! Some future All-Ireland stars, perhaps!

It's all about the focus! Our Year 3 and 4s did great at the Quadkids event at Stockwood Park on Friday. The children performed brilliantly in their sprints, jumping and throwing events, and a special mention to two of our girls who collided in the 400m distance run, and re-ran in the event despite their injuries! Well done to everyone! Great sportsmanship and talent!

Today our Year 5 pupils enjoyed chatting with members of @heart about performing on stage when they were younger, from school plays to local productions. They also discovered several Marys in the room β€” and even someone who once starred in a programme on BBC One! A lovely afternoon full of memories, laughter, and conversation.
