Below you can see some of the activities the children have been participating in recently.
They have been busy creating wormeries and bug hotels, Exploring an ocean tuff tray and learning about the impact of rubbish that can be found in it.
We've also been using a blue food bin that was brought in for our food waste to be recycled.
For our go green week the children all took part in an obstacle course and a ride your bike or scooter to school Wednesday.

Some of the activities the children have been exploring recently. They have helped to create bug hotels, experience the frog tufftray with real tadpoles that were bought in. They have also planted cress seeds in some lovely pots that were kindly donated from B&Q and have enjoyed watching them grow.

To promote bed time stories the children came to pre-school in their pyjamas.
The children enjoyed exploring our library and reading their favourite book in our cosy corner.

The children have enjoyed participating in lots of Christmas themed activities this term and had lots of fun at their Christmas party. We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and we will see you in the new year🎅🤶

Now your child is entering into the next year of their life, things will start to change quickly as they further explore their environment, build on their unique personalities, and prepare for the world of sharing and playing with others in social settings such as nursery.
Some parents find this next 18 months a bit of a challenge, we can help you prepare for the challenges ahead.
Your child’s review will include –
- discussions in regards to any concerns you may have with your child
- review of your child’s health and development
- review and promotion of your child’s language development
- guidance on managing your child’s behaviour
- advice on healthy eating and physical activity
- promotion of immunisations
- advice and support with dental care, looking after your children’s teeth, accident prevention, sleeping and potty training.
- information on early years education
Your child will also be weighed and measured.
You will be sent an SMS link just after your child turns 2 years and 2 months, this will enable you to book a review at a time, date and venue that suits you.
You will also be sent a development questionnaire at the same time for you to complete with your child at home and bring with you to discuss at the review.
