Applecroft Pre-school Luton Applecroft Pre-school we are a small charity / committee run preschool in the stopsley area of luton based in Ross park scout hut .

we follow the curriculum lead by early years At Applecroft we pride ourselves on being a small, intimate pre-school, providing a high staff to children ratio in each of our sessions. Each child is allocated a key person from our staff who builds a relationship with both the child and their family ensuring a truly personal and supported learning experience. Our staff are dedicated and highly experi

enced, most of whom have been with the pre-school for at least 10 years (right up to 25 years service!). We invest continually in new equipment and toys to provide a varied and stimulating environment in both our indoor and outdoor play areas. We offer:
Monday - Friday term Time Only
Full Day Sessions: 9.15am - 03.15pm
Morning Sessions: 9.15am - 12.15am
Afternoon Sessions: 12.15pm - 03.15pm


If you have any questions or you would like to come and see us in action, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be more than happy to answer your queries or arrange a visit. Also worth knowing...Applecroft Pre-school is a registered charity and as such we are overseen by a voluntary committee elected annually from parents of attending children. This ensures that our end users are the ones setting our priorities and keeping us focused on our children's needs. We are members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. We accept funding for 2-5 years

We hope you have all had a wonderful summer holidays, the children that returned this morning have all settled back in beautifully and we look forward to another fun filled academic year at Applecroft preschool.

The children collected materials and made a formerly, we are adding worms to this as we find them and watching them move in this habitat.
The children have made their own water butts to collect water for our plants ( not that we have had much rain recently) this is part of our eco award initiative.. 🍎

🔹 Teach children that windows are not play areas and they should never lean out

In the summer months it’s great to open balcony doors and let the fresh air in.

But young children can and, too often, do fall from balconies and suffer serious injuries.

That’s why it’s so important to stay with young children if the balcony door is open and keep the doors locked when not in use.

Plus, don’t forget this applies to holiday homes or places you’re visiting too. Accidents can happen very quickly so please stay safe.

⚠️Product Recall for Toy-Like Baby Floats sold via TikTok.

The products present a risk of drowning as toy-like designs may mislead consumers into treating the product as a play item rather than a flotation-related product requiring constant adult supervision. This may increase the risk of misuse, overreliance on the product, reduced caregiver vigilance, unsafe play behaviour, instability, tipping, entrapment, or drowning.

The products have been recalled from customers by TikTok. The recall includes all “toy-like” baby floats sold via the marketplace. The marketplace has also prohibited the future listing or sale of any similar “toy-like” baby floats.

Anyone with these products should stop using the recalled products immediately and keep them out of reach of children. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress. ⚠️
