Yesterday we had a visit from Master Zakareah Khan, an expert in martial arts and a former Metropolitan Police Officer. He went over some basic self defence, including: hand to hand combat, knife defence, and stick fighting.

A brilliant week of work experience for our Year 10 students. 👏

Mashallah, they showed maturity, confidence and professionalism throughout, gaining valuable insight into the world of work and representing the school proudly. 🌟

They learnt about how the hospice functions and the vital support it provides to patients and families.

They also took part in a range of engaging workshops, giving them a deeper insight into care, compassion, and community support. 🏥

𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝘁𝘂𝗹 𝗜𝗹𝗺! ⚽️✨️

Our Year 9 and Year 10 students took part in a friendly fixture against Baytul Ilm Secondary School. Although the result did not go our way, our boys represented the school with excellent sportsmanship, positive character, and great team spirit throughout the day.

Most importantly, they enjoyed the experience and supported one another from start to finish.

A well deserved reward for Bilal House, who won the house cup last term. The boys had a blast as they tested their skills and dexterity in the Ninja Warrior obstacle course! 🥷
