Super Dixon (Dixon De Lacerda) was born in Mozambique, Africa but is Portuguese and has lived in Portugal most of his life. For the past 15 years, he has been living in Plymouth, UK recently moving to the Big London. Dixon has been dancing Kizomba for more than 25 years, but with a hip-hop background, this makes 30 years of dance experience. He has been teaching Kizomba & PALOP Culture since 2011 and is the founder of Super Kizomba DX, the 1st Afro Latín Dance School in Plymouth aiming to promote African & Latin Culture in the whole UK.

Super D is an awarded DJ & Dance Teacher and has been teaching, MC’ing, DJ’ing and promoting events & dance festivals from the Southwest to the North of the UK & Abroad.

Super D is most definitely one of the Craziest & Hyper Entertainers in the Afrolatin SBK Scene in the UK and Once He arrives… you’ll know the party has started!!! 🥳

We’re super excited about how our dance family is growing each week—it’s such a joy to see both new and familiar faces sharing the dance floor!

_*Begginers*_ If you’ve tried the *beginner class* but still feel a bit unsure about jumping into the improvers (even though you’re eager to learn more), no stress! We’ve come up with a new plan to help everyone keep progressing, no matter their level.

We truly believe this will help beginners stick with us—because we’ve all been there! We remember how it felt at the start, and both as leaders and followers, we learned the most when we danced with partners who were at a higher level. It pushed us to improve faster and gain confidence—and we want the same for all of you.

Starting next week:
🕕 *Beginner Boost Class – 6:45 to 7:10 PM – Totally Free!*
A short, focused warm-up to give you the tools and confidence to jump into the improver class right after—feeling ready, relaxed, and with a better groove.

Improvers:
No worries—your level won’t drop just because beginners are joining. In fact, it’ll help you grow even more! Adapting to different dance partners is such a valuable skill, and we’ll be adding fun variations so both new and experienced leaders feel challenged and inspired.

Beginners:
Even if you’re just starting out, you’ll still be able to enjoy the flow. We’ll simplify the improver moves while keeping the structure of the sequence, so you can follow along, build confidence, and keep progressing.

Richard and Elsa will be with us to help keep the class running smoothly—dancing with you, keeping an eye out, and offering extra support as assistant teachers.

We’re not just dancing—we’re building a beautiful community where we lift each other up, share the love of dance, and celebrate every step together. ❤️❤️💃🏼🕺🏼💃🏼🕺🏼
