🎉 What a fantastic first week back at Sundon Lower School! 🎒

Our classrooms are full of energy, the playground is buzzing, and the children have settled in like total superstars. 🌟

From meeting new teachers to reuniting with best friends and tackling new routines, all of the children have worked so hard and made us incredibly proud. 📚✨

We are also so excited to welcome our new Reception children next week! We can't wait to see your big smiles and start this new adventure together. 🧸💛

A huge thank you to our amazing staff for their hard work, and to our wonderful parents and carers for ll your support in getting the children ready for the new term. 🤝

Now it’s time to kick off those school shoes, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved weekend! See you all bright and early on Monday morning. 👋

And just like that, another incredible school year comes to a close! Today marks the official end of the term, and we want to wish our entire Sundon Lower School family a wonderful, safe, and relaxing summer break.

Have a magical summer, everyone! A massive thank you to our amazing staff and supportive families for a fantastic year, and we can't wait to welcome you all back in September. 🎒🍦🏖️

🎭 A NIGHT AT THE CURRICULUM MUSEUM! 🦉✨

Yesterday, our incredible Owls Class treated us to two absolutely phenomenal performances of their play, "A Night at the Curriculum Museum"!

This wasn’t just any play—it was a completely original script written using our class's own ideas! The story was a brilliant, fun-filled celebration of everything the Owls have studied throughout the year. It was packed with fantastic inside jokes, references to their classroom adventures, and a nod to their class teacher, Mr Teague (and his love of Lego, plants, and lofi music!).

The audience was taken on a wild journey through their learning journey, featuring:

The Night Manager and her trusty torch (putting our science lessons on light, shadows, and opacity into action!)

* Toby and his analogue watch, keeping us all on time.
* The White Witch bringing some chills to the stage.
* Rhodopis & The Pharoah, complete with a magical red crayon.
* A hunt for myths with Tom Button.
* A visit from Monsieur Monkey speaking French and some mysterious, museum-protecting bread!
* Starjik & Sniffles, The Iron Man, Om & the Stone Age Boy, Floella Benjamin, and WWII evacuees!
* It was a true masterclass in creativity, collaboration, and showmanship. We are so incredibly proud of every single member of Owl Class for bringing their learning to life on stage with such enthusiasm and talent. 🌟

Step Inside Our New Reading Sanctuary! 🛋️📖

Now that you've seen the outside, it’s time to step inside! 👉

We are thrilled to give you a sneak peek of the interior of our newly transformed reading shed. The Harlington Upper School students didn't just stop at the exterior—they have helped us create a cozy, welcoming, and magical space on the inside too!

With comfortable seating, beautiful details, and shelves packed full of adventures, our students are absolutely loving diving into their favorite books here. It is the perfect little getaway for our quiet readers and budding bookworms. 🌟

🎵🌟 WHAT A BRILLIANT EVENING! 🌟🎵

We are so incredibly proud of all our amazing Sundon Lower School pupils who took to the stage at The Grove Theatre on Tuesday evening for the Something for Summer concert! 🎶🎤

They have worked so hard to prepare, and it was absolutely wonderful to see them shine so brightly under the lights! ✨ Class acts, every single one of them! 😍

A massive thank you to all of our incredible staff, parents, and carers who supported our young musicians. 🫶🚗👏

A huge thank you to the incredibly talented students from Upper School who are volunteering their time and creativity to paint a beautiful new look for our reading space. Our students are going to love diving into their favorite books here even more!
