Crawley Green & Wenlock Pre-School

Today was a very hot and sunny day ☀️ the children enjoyed spraying the water pistols at each other to keep each other cool. We also had fun making patterns with the pegs and pegboards and we had ice pops in the garden to keep cool. Todays snack was fruits and a breadstick.

Today the children learnt about amounts they learnt which groups have more/most and which ones have less/fewer. The children really enjoyed playing duck, duck goose in the garden and todays snack was apple and a breadstick.

Today the children were running races which they really enjoyed even the grown ups joined in. Today’s snack was banana and a breadstick and we explored the sorting pie, we sorted coloured fruit and matched numerals to quantities. The children also had fun doing gabbys doll house aerobics.

We are taking applications for September for 3 and 4 year olds. Unfortunately we have no 2 year old availability remaining. We have one 30 hour funded space remaining, 4 x spaces for 12.00pm-3.00pm Monday to Friday and 4 spaces, 12.00-3.00pm Wednesday + 9.00-3.00pm on a Thursday and Friday. Fantastic school trip to Chessington today. The children behaved so well and had a fantastic time on the rides. Some of the mummies and daddies even got to ride the vampire 🦇 thank you for the entertainment with the screams 🤪.

Today the children explored the sea animals in the water tray, they also enjoyed playing with the parachute. We played keep the ball on the parachute then we counted down and lifted the parachute as high as we could and we all ran underneath (Which the children loved). Todays snack was toast and butter and the children loved spreading butter on themselves.

The children enjoyed exploring the dinosaurs and ponies, they used their imagination when making playdough cupcakes and they made dinner in the rice try. Today‘s snack was grapes and a breadstick and outside the children made and decorated balloons on the art table.

This week we have a birthday party in the home corner, and we are reading stories about birthdays. Lots of the children have been talking about their birthdays and parties they have been too. The children have also enjoyed talking about their emotions and what are good and bad choices.

Today the children went fishing, they caught the numbered fish and match the numeral on the fish to the numeral in the board. Outside the children played with the parachute and explored recreating a water fall with tubs and two watering cans. Today’s snack was fruit with a breadstick.

Today the children made traffic lights and vehicles, we played red light green in the garden and lots of children enjoyed jumping on the trampoline. Todays snack was satsuma and a breadstick.
