Launching in September 2026, this initiative establishes Wolverhampton as one of the first universities in the UK to embed professional experience at this scale. Unlike traditional "optional" placements or opportunities, this new framework makes professional development a core pillar of the academic journey.

Message from University of Wolverhampton

Important Information: Undergraduate Applications from Bangladesh and Pakistan - University of Wolverhampton

We regret to inform you that, with immediate effect, the University of Wolverhampton will no longer be accepting undergraduate applications for applicants domiciled in Bangladesh and Pakistan for intakes from January 2026 onwards.

This decision follows a significant increase in cases of misuse of the UK Student Route visa among applicants from these countries. While we recognise that this may not reflect the circumstances of all applicants, the University has a duty to maintain the integrity of the Student Route visa process. In light of recent trends and associated risks, we have taken this precautionary measure until we can be confident in the security and compliance of the process.

We kindly ask that you do not submit any new undergraduate applications for applicants domiciled in Bangladesh or Pakistan. For any undergraduate applications that have already been submitted, we advise that they be withdrawn and applicants are encouraged to apply to alternative institutions.

Please note, this restriction applies only to undergraduate programmes; postgraduate applications remain unaffected at this time.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we take steps to protect the University’s compliance and uphold visa integrity.
